Privacy Policy For "Say Hi Translate" App
Privacy Policy for “Say Hi Translate”
Effective Date: 26 October 2025
Developer: ZK Technologies
ZK Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built the Say Hi Translate app (“Service,” “App”) as a free application. This Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Service, including compliance with Google Play policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.
Permissions Required by the App
The Say Hi Translate app requires the following permissions to provide core features and user experience:
- Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): This permission is required to enable features such as voice-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice-to-voice translation. The microphone input is processed locally on your device — your voice is converted into text before being sent to our translation services. No raw audio recordings are stored or transmitted.
- Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): This permission is used to deliver important updates, reminders, and feature notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Notifications are optional and users can disable them anytime through device settings. No personal or sensitive information is shared or stored for notifications.
Information We Collect
1. User Input Data
Voice Input (Microphone Usage):
- The microphone is used only when you choose the voice translator or voice-to-text feature.
- Your spoken words are converted into text locally on your device using speech-to-text technology.
- Raw voice recordings are never stored or transmitted.
- Only the converted text may be sent to third-party translation or AI APIs for processing.
Text Input: When you type or paste text for translation or AI features, it may be sent to third-party translation APIs or AI model APIs for processing.
AI Features: Features such as chat or writing assistance rely on third-party large language model (LLM) APIs. Your inputs are processed in real time and are not stored by ZK Technologies.
2. Log Data
If the app encounters an error, diagnostic information may be collected via third-party SDKs (e.g., crash logs, device type, OS version, app configuration, IP address, and usage statistics).
3. Automatically Collected Data
Some third-party services may automatically collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, and basic analytics and performance data.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services for functionality, analytics, advertising, translation, and AI features. These services may collect information under their own privacy policies.

| Google Play Services | Core functionality | Google Play Services |
| AdMob | Advertising | AdMob |

Data Retention
ZK Technologies does not store user input, microphone recordings, or personal data. Data is processed in real time by third-party providers. Some third parties may retain limited data (logs, analytics, ad identifiers) under their own policies.
Data Deletion Requests
Since we do not store your data, there is nothing to delete from our systems. However, you may still submit a request to us at rizwankhan.access@gmail.com. We will confirm that no data is stored and guide you on how to request deletion from third-party providers if necessary.
Cookies
The App itself does not use cookies. Some third-party SDKs or APIs may use cookies for analytics or advertising. You may disable cookies via device or browser settings.
Children’s Privacy
- The Say Hi Translate app itself is safe and suitable for general audiences, including children. It does not contain any harmful, explicit, or age-restricted content.
- The App does not specifically target children under 13 (or the digital consent age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them.
- Third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob) may display ads based on general or contextual data. We do not control every individual ad shown, and some third-party ads may include content not specifically tailored for children.
- Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise app usage and review ad personalization settings in their child’s Google account or device settings.
- If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will promptly delete it.
Note: Ads displayed in the app are served by third-party networks (e.g., AdMob). While we strive to ensure ad safety, we do not directly control ad content. Users can adjust ad personalization or restrict age-based ads through their Google account settings.
Security
We implement commercially acceptable security measures. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with the new Effective Date.
